QWERTY brings years of experience and innovative technologies

In our laboratory, we combine proven methods with the latest technological developments. Over the years, we have developed our own unique printing technologies, while refining traditional techniques and implementing digital solutions.

Thanks to our comprehensive technical knowledge, we are able to print on the most demanding substrates, adapting the process parameters to the specific needs of the project. Our experience in materials science allows us to select materials and inks with precision, ensuring the highest quality for each print.

This technological versatility translates into exceptional flexibility in the implementation of customer projects. We can move smoothly from low-volume precision printing to high-volume industrial production, always adhering to the highest quality standards.

Our laboratory constantly monitors and tests new solutions emerging in the market, so that we offer customers not only proven methods but also innovative technical capabilities that can give them a competitive advantage in their industries.

What equipment do we use?

In our laboratory, we use specialised equipment from leading manufacturers in the printing industry, including devices from MIMAKI and ROLAND. But what sets us apart is our ability to adapt standard machines to non-standard challenges. We make advanced technical modifications to the printers, using innovative design and software solutions.

These proprietary enhancements allow us to realise projects going beyond typical applications – from precision printing on glass surfaces and flexible materials to advanced conductive substrates and other unconventional media.

Modern printing technologies in the QWERTY laboratory

Through years of specialised research, our laboratory has developed a comprehensive portfolio of printing technologies. We combine traditional methods with innovative solutions to meet even the most demanding production challenges. Our team is constantly developing new techniques and adapting existing technologies to offer solutions tailored to the changing needs of the market. Here are the most important fields of our specialization.

Printing on glass and special surfaces

We have developed advanced methods of printing on substrates that pose special technological challenges. We use specialized solvent and ceramic inks, guaranteeing exceptional durability and resistance to external conditions. Our experience in printing on glass is applied in both decorative and industrial projects, where reliability and aesthetics of the finish are key.

Printing on flexible substrates

We specialize in printing on flexible substrates, providing solutions for the automotive, medical and electronics industries. Carefully selected inks ensure that the mechanical properties of the prints are maintained even in the most demanding operating conditions.

Printing with conductive materials

Groundbreaking technology for printing with conductive materials is one of our flagship solutions. It enables the creation of precise conductive paths on a variety of surfaces, which is crucial in the production of modern biosensors, strain gauges or linear potentiometers. This technology supports our customers in developing advanced next-generation electronic products.

Printing OLEDs and biosensors

Our lab also prints OLEDs (organic light-emitting diodes) and biosensors, which are used in consumer electronics, medical diagnostics and modern control systems. These precision printing solutions make it possible to create advanced electronic components that combine reliable operation with high measurement accuracy.

Strain gauge printing

With the help of our technologies, we also manufacture advanced strain gauges – precision sensors for measuring mechanical deformation. By using special conductive paints and flexible substrates, we achieve reliable measuring elements offering high accuracy. QWERTY strain gauges perform well in demanding industrial, medical and construction applications where the highest precision measurements are required.

Printing of linear potentiometers

Our lab has also developed advanced technology for printing linear potentiometers – components for precise voltage regulation. Using conductive inks and special substrates, we create uniform resistance paths with high accuracy. Our potentiometers are used in control systems, touch panels and specialized measurement equipment.

Creating and testing new materials

QWERTY’s research and development activities go far beyond standard printing services. Our laboratory is a centre for material innovation, where we develop and test advanced solutions tailored to specific customer requirements. Our team of specialists is systematically developing new formulations of inks and paints, focusing on the following areas:

  • Screen printing inks – we create specialized compositions characterized by exceptional durability and resistance to extreme environmental conditions. Our inks maintain excellent print quality even in the most demanding industrial applications.
  • Innovative inks for digital technology – we develop dedicated solutions for digital printers, enabling high-quality prints on non-standard substrates. Our inks provide excellent adhesion and durability on a variety of materials.
  • Specialised functional materials – we design and manufacture inks with unique properties, including electrically conductive materials and other advanced compositions for technological applications.

Every new material goes through a comprehensive testing and validation process in our laboratory. We also offer full support and assistance with the implementation of new materials, and technical advice to ensure that all components used in the printing process meet the highest quality standards.

Advanced equipment of the measurement laboratory

The efficiency and precision of our printing solutions is based on extensive research facilities. In the QWERTY laboratory, we use specialised control and measurement equipment that allows us to analyse and optimize in detail all parameters of the printing process. Our key equipment includes:

  • Printhead diagnostic systems – we carry out comprehensive tests of printhead performance, analysing uniformity of coverage, pattern repeatability and stability of the printing process. This allows us to guarantee the highest quality of prints in every series we produce.
  • Advanced Dropwatcher – we use a high-precision apparatus to analyse the formation of ink droplets, enabling us to fine-tune print parameters and achieve optimum resolution and surface coverage.
  • Professional X-Rite colourimeter – with our high-end measuring equipment, we control the colour conformity of prints. This tool allows us to reproduce colours accurately and maintain colour consistency throughout the production run.
  • Lighting test bench – in a specialised daylight chamber, we verify colour behaviour under different lighting conditions. This is particularly important for projects requiring perfect colour reproduction regardless of exposure conditions.

Every project in our laboratory goes through a rigorous quality control process, where all parameters are verified in detail and adapted to individual customer requirements.

QWERTY laboratory – the future of printing technology

The QWERTY lab continues to set new standards in the print industry. Each completed project enriches our experience and contributes to the development of proprietary technologies, allowing us to respond effectively to increasingly demanding market challenges.

In our research and development centre, we systematically test and implement innovative solutions. We invest in advanced equipment and develop innovative printing methods. As a result, we are able to support our customers in the implementation of the most complex projects, offering products that meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
